From production to leadership, women are driving progress in the world of premium spirits. Across the UK’s wine and spirits industry, women now make up 43% of the workforce. However, leadership roles remain a challenge, with only 10% of women feeling that significant progress has been made in the past five years. At Zimasa Vodka, we are committed to shifting this narrative—empowering women to take charge, break barriers, and redefine what’s possible.
The Zimasa Vodka journey is deeply connected to women at every stage of the process. From the beginning of our supply chain, female harvesters in Nyanhanga, Mutoko Village, Zimbabwe, play a vital role in sourcing the Masau fruit that gives our vodka its unique character. Their hard work and dedication are the foundation of our brand. Further along the chain, women are involved in key operational roles, and one-third of our leadership team is made up of women, ensuring that their influence and expertise shape the future of Zimasa Vodka.
